Custom Furniture for Collaborative Spaces

Norman Kings delivered bespoke furniture solutions for Common Ground at Taylor’s University, combining functional design with a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic. Developed to support a variety of activities, the furniture contributes to a welcoming environment for collaboration, interaction and everyday use.

A 1,300 sqm shared space at Taylor’s University, furnished with pieces designed and made for this project. Instead of filling the floor with off-the-shelf items, the furniture was shaped around how students gather, study and pause between classes — one continuous landscape of places to work alone or together, delivered from design to installation in 12 weeks.

Thoughtful design, careful craft, and spaces made to be used.
